Well Women Clinic

To check weight, blood pressure, urine, for cervical smears and general health advice.

Baby And Child Health Clinic


To monitor the growth and development of pre-school children.

Childhood Immunisation

We advise this for every child in the practice. We are proud of our high vaccination rates and this maintains a high level of protection for your child.

Antenatal And Postnatal checks


For continuing care during pregnancy and after the baby is born.

Health Screening And Chronic Disease Management


We carry out an active policy of health screening for all patients with asthma, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and epilepsy. The practice nurse is available to assess risk factors, minimise the risk of complications and advise on lifestyle.

Flu Vaccination

Flu vaccination is offered to any of the following patients:
Age 65 & over

Under 65s who have:

• Angina or heart attack
• Diabetes
• Asthma (steroid inhaler only)
• Chronic bronchitis or emphysema
• Chronic renal disease
• Immunosuppression

Minor Surgery

A variety of minor surgical procedures is carried out in the surgery.

Family Planning

Advice given on all aspects of family planning, including natural family planning and fertility advice.

Travel Vaccination


We can advise on all necessary vaccinations for travel abroad. Please be aware that vaccination for travel abroad is not a service provided completely free of charge by the NHS and the practice therefore can only provide on NHS prescription, and administer to you, the following vaccinations • Hepatitis A • Typhoid • Diphtheria/tetanus/polio • Cholera

You will need to obtain any other vaccinations and arrange for their administration on a private basis. Please allow plenty of time to complete courses of vaccination.

Other Services Not Covered By N.H.S. For Which A Fee Is Payable


Medicals for HGV, PSV, pre-employment, Insurance medicals and certificates and certain travel vaccinations. These can be arranged through reception.
